Jewellery Studio Reveal
I’m taking you on a behind the scenes tour of my newly made over studio. I thought you might like to see how we store all of the beads in the shop, and how we organise them so we can find them at a moment’s notice.
For Mother’s Day this year, my family decided to give my studio a little makeover. As things do, it exploded into a major makeover and I’m so happy with it.
Before
I’m really embarrassed to show you this. It was such a mess before the room makeover. I had been so busy organising the beads, that I had forgotten to organise my own space.

Isn’t it terrible? It was so disorganised that I couldn’t find anything and I hated being in there.

Hi Monica, thank you so much for your comment. We do have supplies packed away in drawers too, simply because we have over 13,000 products at the time of writing this, and only a small space. I absolutely hate those tackle box type containers as you can’t easily get to the beads. If you tip them out, all the beads fall out. That’s why I chose to use the small containers. When I want beads for a project, I often go “shopping” on our website to see what we have too. I’m glad this post helped with some storage ideas.
Love the way you have your beads stored in the clear jars stacked on shelves. I would imagine it makes it much easier to know what you have to work with. I also love the peg boards. My supplies are all stored in those plastic divided boxes, and not easy to see at a glance what I might want to use for a project, so I always end up with a mess trying to find the right beads. Makes it easy to forget what you do have when they’re not clearly visible. Thanks for sharing your updated studio. Got some great ideas for storing my jewelry making supplies.
